What you'll be doing
Western Sydney Diabetes (WSD) is an integrated care initiative focusing on improving the situation with diabetes in the region of western Sydney. WSD runs a translational research hub evaluating interventions aimed at the management and prevention of diabetes which includes a number of randomised controlled trials.
This position will manage a randomised trial looking at a diabetes self-management platform called Gro Health. The role coordinates the effective conduct and running of the Gro Health trial from governance to ethics to the daily work of running and monitoring patients.

Selection Criteria

  1. Previous experience in clinical research project management and study co-ordination.
  2. Direct experience in patient contact and care.
  3. Previous experience dealing with patients in a clinical trial setting.
  4. Experience or familiarity with the preparation of human research ethics and governance documentation.
  5. Experience in advanced computer programs including databases and Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word), REDCap experience desirable.
  6. Excellent demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
