IT Project Coordinator

Aspen Medical is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join our team in Canberra on a full-time fixed-term basis. Within this opportunity, you will liaise with all levels and departments of the organisation and will work collaboratively with the Business Transformation Manager in a large business transformation activity that involves several countries throughout the world.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • collaborating with the project team to ensure efficacy is maximised in all aspects of the project lifecycle
  • ensuring ongoing compliance with project governance and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • assisting with project performance data monitoring and analysis
  • supporting the ongoing development of processes, procedures and systems
  • developing and maintaining project plans and schedules
  • liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, responding promptly to any queries raised
  • organising, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings
  • managing external vendor deliverables
  • providing administrative support to the Business Transformation Manager such as assisting on business requirement gathering exercises, process mapping and gap analysis
  • managing and participating in User Acceptance Testing / User Testing
  • building an internal 'wiki' with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
  • completing ad hoc tasks as directed by Management.

Experience, Qualifications and Documentation Required:

Essential:

  • previous experience working as a Project Coordinator or similar body on large-scale projects
  • experience delivering small to medium projects within a complex and diversified environment
  • the ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and individual skillsets
  • the ability to work autonomously and show initiative
  • well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills
  • strong computer literacy skills, particularly Microsoft Suite including Microsoft Project.

Desired:

  • tertiary education within IT or a similar field
  • knowledge of the Healthcare Industry.
