The role is responsible for providing counselling, support and referral services to young people in Wyndham; generalist counselling, assessing individual client needs; and where appropriate in consultation with the young person's family and/or agency professionals, develop appropriate strategies to address these needs.  This position is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining efficient and effective administration procedures that maintain the confidentiality of client and agency matters and provides a positive personal contribution to the successful operation of the Wyndham Youth Services Unit.

The successful applicant will hold a relevant qualification in counselling and/or psychology and will have recent industry experience in providing individual client counselling, referral support and substantial experience in maintaining case notes and client files. 

You will require a current Working with Children Check and be required to undertake a Police Check.
