Digital Content Manager

The Sport Business Division's purpose is to help Australians move through life, enabling more Australians to move more often - delivering health, education and community impact. The Digital Content Manager is a key driver supporting the delivery of an online national grants program to get Australian students active.

As a member of the Sporting Schools team, you will be responsible for managing three digital platforms to ensure the efficient delivery of a federal government program for over 8,000 schools across Australia.

You will be responsible for the Sporting Schools subsection of the Sport Australia website, the Sporting Schools Help Centre and the Sports Business Intranet. You will be a strong writer with digital writing experience and the ability to create images, graphs and videos where required.

You will lead discussions with customers to understand their wants and needs from the online platforms. You will work closely with the Sporting Schools web development team to identify ways to improve the Sporting Schools portals and help to communicate changes made on a monthly basis.

Your role will help to get more Australians to move more often - delivering health, education and community impact and leading a change to move it.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in web content management, sport, business or a related field
  • Demonstrated prior experience in working with content management systems and writing for web
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide timely, compelling and concise advice to inform website product enhancements to support decision making
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management as this role works directly with national sporting organisations.

This position is located in Canberra. This position will be available until December 2020.

Salary range = $90,203 - $103,998 per annum plus upto 15.4% superannuation.
