About the role:      

Reporting to the Nurse Team Leader, this position exists to:

• deliver professional, caring customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• provide quality phlebotomy services to all patients
• Provide clinical/admin support to the clinic where required

The position is based at our Parramatta clinic but requires flexibility to support our Penrith and Campbelltown clinics. 

The morning clinics will include a 7:00am sharp start.

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Providing professional and caring support to our patients  
• Managing all bookings and providing quality phlebotomy services
• Ensuring compliance of protocols and best practice
• Packing, dispatching or delivering samples to laboratories in accordance with the agreed time lines and protocols
• Updating and maintaining patient records
• Ensuring the readiness of utilised areas
• Maintaining and stocking consumables

Ideally you will bring:

• Certificate in Pathology or Phlebotomy
• Blood taking skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and well developed communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to priorities
• Superior organisation and time management skills with proven ability to multitask
• A track record of delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to meet performance and service expectations 
• Knowledge of medical terminology
