People and Culture Officer - Alice Springs

 

About the role

ARRCS are actively sourcing a skilled People and Culture Officer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. Based in Alice Springs, this busy and rewarding role will see you working and supporting our Central Australia Facilities team by responding to the operational daily queries to People and Culture (HR). In addition, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of our monthly orientation program and provide support for the Welfare and Wellness requirements for our PALM workforce.

The successful candidate will ideally have a background in generalist HR duties or senior administration.  They will be highly organized, have strong computer skills, enjoy problem solving and be comfortable to work independently with minimal supervision.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or similar discipline would be highly regarded. In addition, prior experience within the health or not for profit industries are preferred however, not essential.

Skills & experience

  • Prior experience working in a Senior Administration or Human Resource Administrative background.
  • Strong and confident interpersonal skills to liaise and build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels across the company. This role requires organisational skills and the ability to be agile and multitask, often at short notice.
  • Ability to travel to remote locations of the NT, often with overnight stays.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite – With excellent experience utilising Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with and around the elderly.
